:: By Road

From The North

1. Leave the M6 at junction 44 and follow signs to the city centre.

2. After crossing the river Eden, at Hardwicke Circus ( a large roundabout with traffic lights) follow signs for West Cumbria.

3. After passing the Castle on your right, and just after the millennium pedestrian bridge which crosses the road, take the small turning on the left onto Victoria Viaduct Estate.

4. When you reach a set of traffic lights - go straight across and the Enterprise Centre is now on your right , with the Carlisle Swimming Pool on your left. Take the first entrance on the right , between 2 buildings. Park in one of the two visitor spaces in the Car Park at the back. **

From The South

1. Take the M6 North to junction 42

2. Leave the motorway and take the 2nd exit from the roundabout, signposted Carlisle.

3. Stay straight ahead on this road, past several sets of traffic lights , until in Central Carlisle, passing the railway station on the left, and passing between the two red sandstone buildings of The Citadel. At the lights, with Woolworths on your left, , turn left and go over the railway viaduct.

4. Keep in the left lane, and at the next set of lights turn left again - this is James Street and the Enterprise centre is now directly on your right - take the first entrance on the right , between 2 buildings. Park in one of the two visitor spaces in the Car Park at the back. **

From The East

1. Take the A69 , passing over the M6 Motorway at Junction 43. Keep going, into Carlisle, passing Tesco on the right.

2. At the 6th set of traffic lights, with the big red sandstone building of The Citadel directly in front, the road splits into two, keep in the middle lane, but turn left, after which take the right lane and at the next lights go right around the Citadel, ( these distances are only a few yards). Then take the left hand lane again, to be at the next traffic lights directly in front of Woolworths, which is to your left.

3. Turn left at these traffic lights and proceed over The Viaduct. Keep in the left hand lane, and turn left at the next set of lights , this is James Street and the Enterprise Centre is now directly on your right - take the first entrance on the right , between 2 buildings. Park in one of the two visitor spaces in the Car Park at the back. **

** If there are no visitor spaces , or you will be staying longer than 15 minutes, then you must park in the alternative car park - and walk though - or you run the risk of being clamped ! To find the alternative car park, from the top of James Street go past the Enterprise Centre and turn right after the pelican crossing - Hewson Street - right at the end and first left - this is the alternative Enterprise Centre car park. There is a lighted walkway beside the river through to the Enterprise Centre - about 200yds.
